14,500 people are sitting in a stadium. One of them is picked out. What are the chances that that person's birthday is on a Sunday?
You drop two coins into a muddy river by mistake. You saw one falling in, a dime. You know the other one had to be either a dime, or a nickel. After searching and pulling out one, and discovering it's a dime, what is the chance that the other is also a dime?
Kailyn likes strawberries, blueberries, and apples. She put bananas, apples, oranges, cherries, and blueberries into a basket. There are 36 fruits in the basket total. There are 7 bananas, 4 apples, 11 oranges, 8 cherries, and the rest blueberries. What is Kailyn's chance of picking out a fruit that she likes?
If I have:a normal coin with a heads and tails;a 6-sided die;and a bag containing 4 blue and 2 red marbles, what is the probability of me flipping a heads, rolling a 4, and picking out a red marble?

1) it is not likely that the person's birthday is on a Sunday, but it is possible.
2)the chance that it is also a dime is 1 out of 2 because there are 2 things it could be, a dime or a nickel, but it could only be 1 of those 2, so the answer is 1 out of 2.
3)the answer is ten out of twenty-six because there are 10 fruits that she likes in the basket, and 26 that she dislikes
4)the answer is 4 out of 6
